Dorothy Pepper Moser

May 3, 1926 - November 30, 2024

Dorothy P. Moser, 98, of White Mills, passed aay Saturday, November 30, 2024, at her home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl H. Moser, on September 2, 2007. Born May 3, 1926, in White Mills, she was the daughter of the late Edson and Lillian (Stephens) Pepper. 

Dorothy graduated from the Hawley High School in 1944 and joined the WWII U.S. Cadet Nurse Corps in September, 1944. She graduated from St. Joseph's Nursing School in 1947. That fall she began work as a Registered Nurse at Wayne Memorial Hospital and worked there until her retirement in 1992. Dorothy also had attended Marywood University and Johns Hopkins University. 

On July 1, 1948, Dorothy and Carl were married at the White Mills United Methodist Church. She was a lifelong member of the White Mills United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women group. Parent and advocate for individuals with intellectual disabilities, a lifelong supporter of the Human Resource Center, Inc., and the mission to empower individuals.
